Civic organization “Institute of Econology” was founded in 2014 to promote civil society, environmental democracy and environmental rights.

INEC mission is to strengthen the environmental sustainability and favorable socio-economic conditions of the Southern region of Ukraine.

The main objectives are:

• conduct research and expert activities in the field of environmental, biological and socio-economic trends;
• protect the rights and interests of citizens in the field of environmental protection;
• promote environmental and economic interests of the Black Sea region (Odessa region) in the context of international integration and environmental, legal and socio-economic cooperation;
• educate in the field of environmental protection, environmental management, sustainable development, environmental culture and education.
